You must register and pay for classes by the due dates in order to reserve your dancer’s spot in the class.
Payments can be made online through our website, under Register/login or https://dancestudio-pro.com/online/gsballet.
Once you are logged into Dance Studio Pro please navigate to Summer Program 2024 and then select the appropriate Level Class Session for your Student.
A $40 Non refundable Registration fee is required for each Student who takes Summer Classes (except for Creative Dance Mommy/Daddy and Me and Adult Ballet).
If you are interested in taking Summer Classes please pay the Registration fee by May 11th, 2024.
Payment in full is due by Saturday, June 1st, 2024. Please make sure that you have an active, current payment method on your Parent account under Autopay.
All Payments are non refundable and no prorated rates will be given in the event of absences or missed classes.
Credits will be assessed on a case by case basis in the event of an emergency (which may require a Doctor’s note) and per situation.
No Auditions are required to enroll in Summer Classes but as a reminder Class Placement is assessed by age AND ability and is up to the discretion of the Artistic Directors and Instructors.

Attire:
Female Students should wear a black leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes with hair secured away from the face in a neat ballet bun.

Adult Ballet Classes
We offer a variety of Open Adult Ballet Classes for all Levels, whether you’re brand new to ballet, returning to ballet or a seasoned dancer.

Teen & Adult Ballet Saturday Beginner/Intermediate 11:30 am -12:30 pm
Minimum age 12 years old
Class designed for students who are new to ballet, returning to ballet or continuing their training. This class will provide an opportunity to gain a strong foundation of technique and learn the fundamentals of ballet. Moving at a slower pace, the focus is on ballet positions, vocabulary, technique, flexibility and proper alignment/placement. Students do Barre, Center, Adagio, Allegro, across the floor and combinations.
This class may be a pre-requisite to Leveled classes (Per Instructor request).
Teen & Adult Ballet is available as either a Drop in Class at $25 per class or $400 for the entire Semester.
This Class is geared towards Students with some ballet experience and who are proficient in technical concepts.

We are excited about our upcoming 2024 Summer Intensive Programs where we offer classes for Baby Ballerinas through Pre Pro, (ages 4-23).
Summer Intensives and Classes are open to all, including those not currently enrolled in any Gulfshore Ballet Programs.
Gulfshore Ballet’s Summer Intensive provides high quality pre-professional ballet training featuring the area’s most qualified instructors and curriculum.
The core curriculum will consist of Ballet Technique, Pointe, Pas de Deux and Variations, as well as classical repertoire.
Additional classes may include Contemporary, Jazz, Character, Strengthening, Stretching, Turns & Leaps and Pilates to help students develop versatility in their dancing. All students will learn choreography and perform in our in-studio Summer Intensive Showcase.
ATTENDANCE
Students must inform the Gulfshore Ballet Office Manager at (239) 590-6191 or gsballetoffice@gmail.com if they will be absent. Excessive absences may result in dismissal from the Summer Intensive program and may result in adjusted casting for the Showcase or adjusted level placement.
CLASS OBSERVATION
Family members are invited to attend open classroom observation on scheduled days.
DRESS CODE
The Gulfshore Ballet dress code applies to all students participating in the program, no exceptions.
Female Students:
Hair must be worn in a bun with no bangs or fly away hairs. No jewelry (except for small non-dangling stud earrings) or nail polish is allowed.
Ballet & Pointe
Any color or print leotard, pink tights and pink ballet slippers or pointe shoes (if applicable) and students may wear any color ballet skirt for variations and repertoire classes
Character Class
Students may need a long black Character skirt and Character shoes.
Bare Feet-Jazz shoes are optional or at Instructor’s request
Pilates (Male & Female Students)
Tights, leotard, yoga pants, leggings, tank top, socks or bare feet
Instructor may request that Students get a Pilates Ring or other related equipment
Male Students must wear a white fitted shirt or men’s leotard, black tights, and white or black ballet slippers. Young boys under the age of 13 may wear black shorts over their tights.
REFUND POLICY
There are no exceptions to the refund policies. There are no refunds on registration fees, deposits, tuition, uniforms, or merchandise. Please keep in mind that all dance activities including the study of ballet come with the risk of injury. Those students who suffer a major and debilitating injury preventing any dancing after full payment of tuition and fees may submit a letter of explanation from a licensed physician. Should such a letter be submitted, Gulfshore Ballet will consider negotiation of credit for the following year’s Summer Intensive or to other programming in the season.
REGISTRATION
Students must register and create an account through our Portaland pay registration and class fees.
PLACEMENT LEVEL
Artistic Directors and Instructors will determine the best level for each student based on ability for the Summer Intensive.
