Student Level Leotards

Students in LEVELS 1/2/3/3A/4/5/6/7/8/Pre Pro are REQUIRED to wear their Level appropriate Color Leotard for classes and have the GSB Logo embroidered onto the leotard.

We suggest you order the appropriate Color Leo prior to the Semester to allow for limited stock, delays or back orders.

Please only purchase the style and brand below and we suggest that you take measurements before purchasing as Parents have mentioned that the children’s sizes tend to run small.

Dress Code

Students in Baby Ballerinas and Pre Ballet 1/2/3 can wear a pink or black leotard, pink tights and pink ballet slippers with hair in a neat bun.

Hair

Hair must be in a neat bun and any bangs secured away from the face.
No bows, ribbons large scrunchies are to be worn in class or for rehearsals and shows.

Nails

No nail polish is allowed for rehearsals or performances.

Tights

Pink ballet tights should be worn, unless told otherwise for Rehearsals/shows and tights must be clean without rips or tears for classes, rehearsals and shows.

Underwear should NOT be worn under tights and leotards.

Ballet Slippers, Pink for Girls, White for Boys

Ballet Slippers should be purchased from a reputable dance supply store and we prefer canvas split sole ballet slippers.

Pointe Shoes

For Students on Pointe, Pointe shoes should be professionally fitted and sewn correctly. Students on Pointe should always have their Pointe Shoes with them along with a sewing kit.

It is advised for students in Levels 5 through Pre Pro to have more than 1 pair of Pointe shoes ready to go, in case shoes go dead.

Boys

Boys can wear black or white dance tights, a black or white T Shirt and White Ballet Slippers for classes and rehearsals.
