The faculty at Gulfshore Ballet will assess each incoming student to determine the correct level at which the child should be placed by offering a placement class, held during a currently running class in Fall or Spring.

Placement Classes are also available off Season in Summer and during Open Classes but at the current class rate.

Placement classes are $20 per class and Placement class fees must be paid at the time that your student comes in for the placement class by cash or credit card.

There are no refunds on Placement Class fees in the event that you decide not to enroll your child in classes.

A Gulfshore Ballet staff member will contact you within 3 days of submitting your Placement Request Form to get more information about your child and talk to you about what class to try.

After speaking to us please click on this link to register for the placement class.

Once you create an account and log in please click on Seasons, find the right Level and then choose “Trial Lesson” for the appropriate Level Class and you will be prompted to pay for the Class.

After your Student takes the Placement Class, the instructor will make a recommendation for placement that best suits your child’s current skill, ability, and experience. Please be advised that the placement class is not an audition but is an assessment and the Student may be placed in a different Level than the one they took a Placement Class for.

Placement classes are not given for Private Lessons, Adult Division, Creative Dance (Mommy/Daddy & Me) and Elective Classes.

New Student Registration is a $50 per student non refundable annual fee, due at time of enrollment.
